Happy Birthday to me!

August 18, 2008 at 12:45 pm | Posted in Personal | 1 Comment

Well, it’s not my personal birthday yet (that comes in November), but today marks two years since I created my blog.

Like we expect in people, my blog has matured over time. There have been changes to its content, layout, style, and hosting program. And I plan for it to continue to change as I keep learning and maturing.

As I looked back as my stats for the last two years, I was really excited to see that the post with the highest hits so far was almost exactly one year ago (August 14, 2007) when I revealed the cover for my book, Marriage, Divorce and Remarriage!

(Next month I get to do a one-year birthday post for my book! Expect a shameless plug.)

I also found that, counting the one you’re reading, I have posted 145 times. Honestly, it’s not as many as I thought I would have written by now.

I just want to say, “Thanks for reading my blog.” I hope you find it insightful – about me, our church, and your own spiritual journey.

Don’t forget that you don’t have to try to remember to keep coming back. You can subscribe with any feed reader or choose to receive an email each day that I post. Just click on the options at the top right of the page.

God bless,

Dan’l

P.S.: Stay tuned for some pretty cool message series we’re going to do this fall at OTCC. I can’t wait!
