That’s Quotable (Chinese proverb)

I shared this a few years back, which means it’s well over-due. I think this accurately reflects God’s heart and passion for his Church:

If your vision is for a year, plant wheat.
If your vision is for ten years, plant trees.
If your vision is for a lifetime, plant people.

God’s vision, and mine, for OTCC is for a lifetime. Jesus said, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few” (Matthew 9:37, NET). That sounds like a people job.

We’re going to tackle this in more detail in our new weekend teaching series beginning July 13. Stay tuned.
