Listening for God’s "call"

March 5, 2008 at 4:02 pm | Posted in Teaching | 1 Comment

I receive more comments after messages like the one from this past weekend than any other topic (so far). We were exploring how discovering God’s unique design for each of us is essential to living a great life.

We’ve talked about this before. God has wired each of us with not only a unique plan but also a unique passion, personality, talent pool, background, etc. – all of which make us who we are. But trying to find God’s “call” – His specific plan for me – is not easy for most of us. In fact, sometimes it’s downright confusing and frustrating.

So, what comes to my inbox this week but an article by John Ortberg entitled “God’s Call Waiting”. I highly recommend that you read it, especially if you are struggling with finding God’s place for you right now.

(I especially like his reference to God sending a postcard. If you don’t get it, listen to the weekend message again.)

If you are having difficulty with this topic, please feel free to send me an email. I’d love to help you find God’s best for you so you, too, can live a great life!
