Special Guests: Jeff and Tammi Brown

We started a new teaching series this past Sunday. It was a “pep rally” of sorts – a reminder that God not only hopes that we will have a meaningful life but that He really expects that from us. And to make sure it happens, He gave us “everything we need for living a godly life” (2 Peter 1:3, NLT). When we come back to the series on June 3 and 10, we’ll look at two areas of our lives in which He expects us to win – faithfulness and self-control / self-discipline.

What is your favorite passage on these two topics? Has God convicted you of either of them? What did He use to do it?

This week (May 27) we get to hear from my friends Jeff and Tammi Brown about their upcoming ministry in Kenya. They have a fascinating story. It’s another proof that God can use any skill to His glory.

We’ll be launching a new OTCC web site soon! Keep watching for details.

Until next time,

  1. Thanks for having Jeff and Tammi Brown speak on Sunday. I was inspired by their faith, and their willingness to find “more” in their spiritual quest. Let me know when you plan your trip to Kenya!
